Jenna has always enjoyed creating art that makes people giggle. She is passionate about children’s books, visual story telling and pattern design. She currently works full time as a Senior Graphic Designer at Joe Fresh drawing whimsical designs on baby and toddler clothing, and she has also illustrated numerous children’s books published by Owl Kids. She primarily works digitally but also enjoys exploring physical art mediums such as screen printing, embroidery, needle felting and ceramics.

Jenna grew up in Thunder bay spending much of her free time enjoying the wilderness of Northern Ontario. She loves drawing for a living but took some detours on the way to a career in Illustration. During her first post-secondary experience she got a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Biomolecular Science at Lakehead University in 2008 and worked as a Microbiologist in a water testing lab, but discovered that looking at E. Coli everyday wasn’t really for her. She decided to change gears after moving to Toronto, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration from OCAD University in 2018 so she could spend her days doing what she loves - drawing animals doing silly things. Now she’s been able to combine both her science and art career by illustrating the “Do Animals…?” educational series published by Owl Kids Books.

When she isn’t drawing you can often find her wandering Toronto parks with her dog Chester and partner Kevin.
